The biggest update to the 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 is the 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel that generates 305 horsepower and 495 lb.-ft. of torque with towing at up to 13,300 lbs. Another engine choice is the 6.2-liter V8 that puts out 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque. The standard 2.7-liter Turbo gets 310 horsepower and 430 lb.-ft. of torque.
